How to add an offer to your listing
Have a special offer, seasonal promotion, short break package or exclusive visitor experience to share? Adding it to your DestinationCore member portal is a great way to showcase what your business has to offer and encourage people to book or visit.
Your offers can help inspire visitors to explore Norfolk and Suffolk and may feature across the Visit East of England, Visit Norfolk and Visit Suffolk websites.
Step 1: Log in to your member portal
Visit the DestinationCore member portal:

Enter your registered login email address and password.
Forgotten your password? Select Forgotten password on the login page. You will receive a reset link by email to set up your password.
Step 2: Find the offers section
Once logged in, navigate to the offers area of your member portal.
Follow the option to add a new offer and complete the fields provided.
Step 3: Add your offer details
Provide clear, accurate information so visitors can understand your offer and how to take advantage of it.
Offer title
Choose a concise, descriptive title that explains the benefit to the visitor.
For example:
- Midweek Bed and Breakfast Special
- Two-Night Coastal Escape in Suffolk
- Complimentary Afternoon Tea with Your Stay
- Seasonal Dining Offer in Norfolk
Make the title specific to your offer rather than using a general heading such as "Special Offer".
Offer description
Write an engaging description explaining what the offer includes and why it is worth taking advantage of.
Include relevant details such as:
- What is included in the offer
- The price or saving available
- Who the offer is suitable for
- Any additional benefits or experiences
- Whether the offer is seasonal or available on selected dates
Think about the questions a potential visitor might ask and answer them in your description.
Validity dates
Enter the start and end dates for your offer, where requested.
If the offer is only available on particular days, during certain seasons or for selected booking periods, make this clear.
Price and savings
Make the value of your offer clear. Where relevant, include the full price, discounted price or amount visitors can save.
Ensure that all advertised prices and savings are accurate.
Terms and conditions
Include any restrictions or conditions that apply, such as:
- Minimum stays or booking requirements
- Selected dates or excluded periods
- Availability restrictions
- Advance booking requirements
- Whether the offer can be combined with other promotions
Clear terms help visitors understand exactly what is included before they book.
Booking information
Provide a direct link to the relevant booking page or offer information on your own website, where applicable.
Check that the link works and takes visitors to the correct page.
Images
Upload suitable, high-quality images that showcase the experience, accommodation, food or activity included in your offer.
Choose images that accurately represent what visitors will receive.
Additional information
Complete any other relevant fields available in the portal, including links or other information that helps visitors make a decision.
Step 4: Check and submit your offer
Before submitting, check that all the details are accurate and easy to understand.
Use this checklist:
- The offer title clearly describes the promotion.
- The description explains what is included.
- Prices and savings are accurate.
- Validity dates are correct.
- Terms and conditions are clear.
- Booking links work correctly.
- Images are relevant and good quality.
- Spelling, grammar and formatting have been checked.
Submit or save your offer using the relevant option in the portal.
If the portal indicates that your offer requires approval before publication, allow time for this process.
Step 5: Keep your offer up to date
Offers should always reflect what your business is currently providing.
Remember to:
- Update prices, dates or terms if they change.
- Check that booking links remain active.
- Remove or amend expired offers.
- Add new offers when you launch a seasonal promotion or package.
An expired offer or incorrect booking link can frustrate potential visitors, so regular checks are worthwhile.
Top tips: SEO and getting your offer found online
Adding an offer is a great way to encourage bookings, but it can also help potential visitors discover your business through search engines such as Google.
As search continues to evolve, including the use of AI-powered search tools, providing detailed, accurate information helps search engines understand what your business offers and when it is available.
To help improve your offer's visibility:
Choose a descriptive title. Explain what the offer includes and where it is available. For example, "Two-Night Coastal Break in Suffolk" is more informative than "Special Offer".
Write a detailed description. Explain what is included, who the offer is suitable for and what makes it appealing.
Use relevant keywords naturally. Think about what potential visitors might search for, such as "Norfolk weekend breaks", "Suffolk spa offers" or "hotel deals near the Norfolk coast".
Include accurate prices and dates. Make sure visitors can easily understand the value of the offer, when it is available and any restrictions that apply.
Add a direct booking link. Where possible, link straight to the relevant offer or booking page to make it easy for visitors to take the next step.
Use relevant images. Choose high-quality images that accurately represent the experience. Descriptive image file names can also provide useful context.
Focus on providing helpful information for visitors first. Avoid repeating keywords unnecessarily or writing descriptions purely for search engines.
A complete, accurate and regularly updated offer listing can help search engines understand your content and match it with relevant searches. While this does not guarantee higher rankings, it gives potential visitors clearer information when they are researching their next trip.
Don't forget your FAQs
As well as adding offers, we encourage you to add frequently asked questions (FAQs) to your main business listing through the member portal.
FAQs help answer common visitor questions, make it easier for people to plan their visit and provide search engines and AI-powered search tools with clear information about your business.
Consider the questions potential visitors might ask before booking or taking advantage of your offer, such as:
- Do I need to book in advance?
- Are there any restrictions on when the offer can be used?
- What is included in the package?
- Are there any additional charges?
- Is the offer suitable for families?
- Are dogs welcome?
- Is the venue accessible?
Choose questions that are relevant to your business and provide clear, accurate answers.
Remember: FAQs should be added to your main business listing rather than relying on your offer description alone. Keeping your listing complete and up to date, alongside adding relevant offers, helps visitors find the information they need and gives search engines a better understanding of your business.
